Welcome to the Gingerbread Smart Home, where you can explore all the ways Google makes your favourite holiday traditions a little smarter.
BAs greet you at the cashier on entry, loaning you a Pixel 3 and showing you how to use the Google Lens feature to explore your environment.
All around the store you could use Lens to identify unlabeled records, scan concert posters to shop for tickets, and even ID instruments and plants.
The space was fully shoppable, enabling you to use Lens to purchase items you've identified.
We transformed fitting rooms into mini photo ops that showcased various camera features.
Concealed in the towering speaker wall at the back of the store was a secret door. Use Lens to answer a query and part of the wall would give way to the next room.
The door led you into a room that was, to the naked eye, nearly pitch black. Only when seen through the Pixel 3's Night Sight camera did the space come to life with impressive clarity.
Connecting tunnels and stairwells were designed to double as photo ops that showed off more Lens + camera features as you moved from one room to the next.
In the next space, another query answered using Lens illuminates a whole-room immersive pattern designed to put the phone's wide-angle selfie cam to the test.
In the very last room, you could try your luck at getting your own Pixel 3, merch, and other prizes by picking a winning album up off the wall.
On closing night, we wrapped with an exclusive Tokyo Police Club concert in the pop-up for a handful of giveaway ticket winners
